FRANGEŽEVA PENINA

The Frangež family live in Gornja Radgona, the smal town in the North-East of Slovenia, surrounded by Radgonsko-Kapelske gorice. The land is kind and hilly and boasts with beautiful sunny slopes, where the most delicate and top-quality wines are grown. The family Frangež carries on the 150-year old tradition of wine production in Gornja Radgona after the renowned classical method, according to which first the fermentation takes place in oak barrels and then the maturing of sparkling wine in bottles. The fermentation of noble wines takes place in oak barrels while the sparkling and selected wines undergo the fermentation process in the bottles. The Frangež sparkling wines habe often been awarded the champion titles and won several medals in Slovenia and abroad.
